Purchase of 113-115 and 117-119 High St
Midsteeple Quarter have reached an exciting stage in their plans and are pleased to announce the purchase of 113-115 and 117-119 High Street. This is a huge step forward for the regeneration of Dumfries High Street by this community-led organisation.
Community Consultation
We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to come along to the consultation event at The Oven on the 14th and 15th August held at The Oven.
Purchase of 1 Standard Close as part of The Oven redevelopment
The property 1 Standard Close forms part of the site area for the proposed Midsteeple Quarter Phase 1 development ‘The Oven’. This property was purchased by Midsteeple Quarter in August 2020 for £35,000 from the owner, Matt Baker.
Planning Permission Granted for The Oven
Midsteeple Quarter are pleased to announce a huge step forward for the regeneration of Dumfries High Street, with planning permission and conservation area consent having now been granted for the redevelopment of The Oven (135-139 High Street).
Learning from Midsteeple Quarter
A&DS recently commissioned a short animation on Midsteeple Quarter to share our story, about how the The Stove Network brought the community together to help rejuvenate Dumfries high street.
