Midsteeple Quarter granted Listed Building Consent for The Press
We are delighted to announce Midsteeple Quarter has been granted Listed Building Consent for The Press (117 High Street). Listed building consent is the mechanism by which planning authorities ensure that any changes to listed buildings are appropriate and sympathetic to their character. It helps to protect what is a rare and unique building.

Purchase of 113-115 and 117-119 High St
Midsteeple Quarter have reached an exciting stage in their plans and are pleased to announce the purchase of 113-115 and 117-119 High Street. This is a huge step forward for the regeneration of Dumfries High Street by this community-led organisation.
Consultation Event
On Thursday 10th October and Saturday 12th October open public consultations session were held at ‘The Oven’ (135-137 High Street, Dumfries). The local community were invited to come along to view plans and research material from the Feasibility Study into the potential development of 113-115 High Street and 117-119 High Street as part of the Midsteeple Quarter project for Dumfries town centre.
