In September 2020, Midsteeple Quarter acquired two buildings on Dumfries High Street, we have called them The Smithy (113-115 High Street) and The Press (117 High Street).  In March 2021, it was announced Midsteeple Quarter had acquired a further two buildings, including 111 High Street. The shop units are prime retail frontage in the centre of Dumfries High Street adjacent to the Plainstanes and Midsteeple.  Nearby occupiers include WHSmith, Bob & Berts and Vodafone.

We are working up redevelopment plans for these three buildings.  However, in the meantime we intend to let the ground floor shop units only on a short-term basis. We are also keen to hear from people who may be interested in using the spaces as a pop-up venue - a week or even just a weekend would be considered.

Midsteeple Quarter are flexible regarding lease period and rent levels, we are keen for interested parties to enter into dialogue with us to create a mutually agreeable arrangement.  As a guide, monthly rent will be c. £450 - 500 pcm.
