Touring theatre company seek audiences for accessibility pilot.

Touring theatre company Fox and Hound have recently launched their ‘Theatre Access Pilot’ with support from Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Regional Cultural Fund and are investigating how they can make their productions more accessible and welcoming to people who face barriers to attending theatre performances.

As part of this pilot, Fox and Hound are testing two pairs of live caption glasses across six engagement sessions in the region. These are informal learning and conversation sessions where experiences can be shared and more can be understood about the barriers audiences face. The company are keen to explore how they can make their productions more accessible and fun.
The glasses will be available to try during two performances of their funny and thought-provoking show Because We Said We Would

You can join Fox and Hound in Dumfries on Tuesday 4th August at The Standard, Green Room, High Street.
