Midsteeple Quarter joins forces with Jupiter Artland

Midsteeple Quarter is delighted to be partnering with Jupiter Artland to bring JUPITER+DUMFRIES to our High Street.

JUPITER+ is a Scotland-wide programme that brings contemporary art, creative learning and new opportunities to town centres across the country. From July to December, Dumfries will become home to exhibitions, artist residencies, learning programmes and creative events, all designed to inspire people, support artists and encourage new conversations about place.

Midsteeple Quarter is proud to be partnering on two exciting parts of the programme:

ORBIT Youth Collective – a fully funded programme for 16–18 year olds including creative workshops, mentoring and two residential trips. Are you aged 16–18 and love being creative, or do you know someone who is? Find out more and apply here.

Artist Residencies – Two early-career artists will receive a free six months' studio space in a Midsteeple Quarter High Street building, along with a monthly materials stipend, to develop new work while becoming part of Dumfries' creative community. Find out more and apply here.
