Third Sector D&G - Family Arts & Crafts Drop In

Hosted by Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway, this relaxed arts and crafts workshop offers a calm, creative space for neurodiverse children and their families to connect, create and feel understood.

Families will have the opportunity to help shape how services communicate with and support them, while taking part in creative activities in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Participants are encouraged to arrive at the start of the session but are welcome to leave at any time.

With consent, photographs taken during the workshop will contribute to the creation of a community comic inspired by the real experiences of neurodiverse children and their families. The comic will aim to capture everyday moments, challenges, strengths, imagination and joy, helping to raise understanding and visibility through creative storytelling.

No artistic experience is required. Families are welcome to participate at their own pace, take breaks when needed, and engage in ways that feel comfortable for them.
