We’re hiring: Community Engagement Activator
Could you help take Midsteeple Quarter’s community engagement to the next level?
We are seeking to work with an energetic, enthusiastic person who loves working with people and developing new relationships to support the small but highly-motivated team behind one of Scotland’s most exciting community-led regeneration projects.
We exist to benefit the people in our community. Involving them is at the heart of what we do and we would like to work with someone who can help us organise our community engagement work and develop our programme of activities.
Working over two days a week, you would be expected to spend some of your time at Midsteeple Quarter in Dumfries. There will be elements of evening and weekend work, depending on the project’s requirements. As an organisation, we believe in flexible working.
Ideally, you will have a successful track record of working in community engagement - someone who is capable of working well independently as well as part of a team.
This is an exciting time in our story as we begin our first major phase of construction work on Dumfries High Street.
Could this be you? To arrange an informal chat, please email info@midsteeplequarter.org.
Full details about the role can be found here.
The successful candidate or agency will be recruited on a freelance / contractor basis. The post is open to both direct applications from individuals and tender applications from organisations.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday May 20th 2022.
