2022 minutes
The minutes for last year's AGM were shared and accepted.
Our ongoing work
The Chair, Executive Director and Community Engagement Activator shared highlights of the past 12 months and some of the achievements which have been made in Midsteeple Quarter, not least the progress on the transformation of the former Baker’s Oven at 135-139 High Street and how our membership and the wider community have been involved in so much that we do. The Chair and Executive Director also briefly shared their hopes for the year ahead.
Accounts
The certified annual accounts were presented and accepted.
Board Elections
In line with Midsteeple Quarter’s rules, the following directors had to stand down and be reelected to the board of directors:
Dion Corbett
Peter Kormylo
Alison Macleod
As these were the only three nominations received for the three vacant roles and there was no counter motions proposed, the three nominees were duly elected.
Members’ consultation
Board members enjoyed some enlightening conversations as members were consulted on key topics about our organisation and its work in conversations before and after the official AGM business. As promised, the Board is currently working through this feedback and will share the highlights on that in the coming weeks.
The meeting closed at 8.15pm
The full AGM minutes will be available once they are approved at the next AGM
