Monday November 25

Are you an artist or maker with art works sitting about your house/flat/studio? Want to sell some work before Christmas?

The Oven are inviting artists to deliver artworks to be considered for their Christmas Pop-Up Salon Show — a traditional style show with works hung floor to ceiling with almost every inch of space covered by artworks: paintings, drawings, photos, prints, textiles, films, small sculptures and more.

Each artist can submit one piece of work for consideration. Pieces can be any size (in theory); in fact a diverse range of sizes makes the show more interesting. Film work can also be submitted for inclusion in a showreel.

The Oven hope to accommodate all works but final selection will depend on numbers and how many entries are received.

The Oven will be selling pieces with a commission of 20% to help keep The Oven running as an arts space for a few extra months into 2020. Alternatively, you could also donate your work to The Oven, or simply show your art and collect upon closing.

The Pop-Up-Salon Show will run for two weeks from Saturday 7thth until Saturday 21st December, with an evening reception on Saturday 7th (7-10pm) with drinks, nibbles and music.
