Midsteeple Quarter team to grow

We are delighted to welcome Buildings Manager, David Hill, to our small Midsteeple Quarter team - at the same time as we announce news of a new role which we are recruiting for.

David recently joined our team, bringing with him 30 years’ experience on buildings and construction consultancy and management, most recently with Police Scotland.

His role is a busy one, not only linking in with our contractors, RH Irving Construction, on the transformation of The Standard as it edges towards completion, but managing the other buildings owned by our community benefit society.

And it is varied - from working with those who lease our spaces, to managing the repairs and maintenance needed to keep them in “meanwhile” use as we work towards our long-term ambition of redeveloping all of the buildings in our ownership.

As we continue that journey, we are excited to be able to create the new role of Midsteeple Quarter’s Enterprise Manager.

Thanks to support from our friends at the Holywood Trust, this position will help us further encourage new enterprises of all kinds onto our High Street, unlocking the very real potential that we know exists in our community.

You can find out more about that role - and how to apply - here. The closing date for applications is April 25th. Interviews will take place between May 7th and 10th.
